Clearly a great idea, but I can see differences of opinion over 'scapegoat' and 'not good enough' I dont think I ever have a scapegoat but it wasn't that long ago I was constantly repeating the phrase "Why in god's name is Hoedt starting again?" Although as I type this I realise I didn't blame him for everything, just the times he was actually to blame and the fact that he just wasn't good enough Thank god (I get very religious on this topic!) Ralph thought the same Re: Stephens and Targett I don't think Jack is good enough to be starting once Maya's back, but he's good enough to be on the bench Matty's our best crosser and he's improving in other areas so I think we should all wait and see. I wish he would play with a little less fear at times And let's remember that 10 games ago none of us new that Redders and Prowsie would be performing as well as they are now
I'm a bit like that with Mo El at this current time, still waiting for him to show me anything that suggests that he will be ok in this league, but he's still here so Ralph must want to give him a chance.
Redders is now reaping the benefits of an overall very good season which is getting better with every match it seems. As posters may know, I simply think that JWP just hasn't had a run in the past two seasons to get up to speed and he now has a Manager that can get the best out of him.
I know !!! Its only that Ralph hasn't ditched him that makes me think he may have something I haven't seen
