Corbyn's poor showing over the last week has led to the Tories regaining a substantial 7 point lead again. I thought you would like to know.

The facts in the workplace are actually quite different than what the hard Brexiters maintain.. Business is having to adapt and many people are starting to realise.. Fact not fear.

Umm. this is factually incorrect.. Many of the so called jobs will be zero hour contracts etc etc.
It also stands to reason that all these companies relocating part of their business from the UK equals job losses.
Even HRH Rees smogg admits to a down turn in the economy for the foreseeable.
But we have had this discussion before...

My considerable business experiences gives me the confidence that businesses will adapt their practices to any change in circumstances. We have the mentality and accepted flexibility to adjust unlike many near continental neighbours.

There has been a massive reduction in zero hours contracts in the UK.

Business is already adapting. Barclays has received permission from the courts to move billions, not millions, out of London to Dublin. The car industry is adapting by seeing a dramatic fall in investment since the referendum. Airbus is adapting by increasing the factory space it has in France. Companies are adapting by stockpiling components, medicines and food, rather than using the money that is now tied up in stock to invest for the future expansion of business. This is big business having to take decisions that due to a complete failure of government to achieve the impossible is having an effect on the countries well being.

It is bad for the UK, and glad you have finally admitted to it. Other countries are not having to take all of the ridiculous measures being put in place by the UK, but are rubbing their hands with glee as every week more companies from the UK set up shop in the EU. Self harm hardly describes what you yearn for.

Opinion polls are very volatile at the moment SH. One speech from Corbyn along the lines of David Lammy and they would very quickly change. The important polls from your perspective show 58%-42% in favour of remaining in the EU. and a small majority in favour of a second referendum. If Britain were to crash out of the EU. against that background (ie. without the people, or Parliament, being asked) then the Tories would be faced by political oblivion for decades to come, and, bearing in mind the age structure of their party, this may be the end for them.

Countries like France seem unable to help themselves, we are used to rescuing them.
You continue to cling to project fear

That is why it is pointless discussing with you.. Your sole interest is in being right.

Sadly you are unable and unwilling to have any other discussion.. So a complete waste of time debating with you.

You told me to mind my own business.. May I request that you accord me the same respect...

Mmm.. Reminds me of the story of the emperor's new clothes... I think so many overseas commentators are very bemused by what is going on in our parliament...
