When we win there earlier on in the season, bielsa said we took our chances and they didn’t. Tim krul made 2 mistakes. The fans talked about it like it was a drubbing. Same happened here in reverse. They played well and deserved their win, but people are talking like they humped us. First goal was 2 mistakes from Jansson and a deflected free kick,2nd was a disaster from foreshaw and a deflected shot, the third was a disaster from Douglas a deflected cross and a shot that went through both the defenders and the keepers legs. They had 5 shots on target and i’ve Just accounted for 3 of them... possibly 4 if they count the deflection for Pukki’s goal. We had more shots and more on target than Norwich. We were poor, 2nd half in particular. We lack a cutting edge (have for most of the season) and have developed a worrying habit of committing suicide defensively. We are vulnerable to sides who are slick on the counter attack by fact of our style of play. So of course there is cause for concern... but the idea that we were rolled over is.. well... a bit over dramatic. It’s football it happens to better sides than us.
Were still joint top, let's leave the wrist slashing for the time being. Never an easy game anywhere in this league. Keep the faith, let's enjoy the rollercoaster.
Exactly. I’ve never been worried by the results just the performances... second half today was the first alarm bells really, but we changed style and it backfired. All to play for.
For the first time this season I thought Bielsa got it all wrong today,Forshaw no good as a defensive mid against a good team,Philips should have played. We then lacked creativity so he took off our creative player and put on Douglass which made things worse, the game had gone by the time he put Bamford on.
Bielsa spies didn't get close enough to Norwich training pitch last week .... is there a plan B ? ...which doesn't involve cheating ?
I think Sr Bielsa, will be getting no sleep over the next few days analysing his tactics. Maybe a kick up the arse will do everyone some good.
I'd give it up if I were you, better people than you have tried to get under our skin without any success
Don't really know last I heard they had been refused landing rights in Germany and are continuing flying into the great blue yonder.
I said when I saw the team sheet the selection surprised me. Tyler Roberts isn't a number 10 we lost Saiz there and Pablo has been a good replacement but today switched wide left it seemed wasted and more so with Harrison. With the players available we could have had Phillips in front of the back four, Douglas starting at LB and Alioski Pablo Clarke as the attacking three. I'm also questioning Bielsa announcing his team selection early, teams are doing their homework on us, Bielsa likes to use every tool available to him hence spygate, so why give the opposition an extra tool by allowing them 48 hours to set out a plan to beat us. Norwich would have expected Pablo in the middle, Douglas and Phillips starting and possibly Clarke, we are gifting the opposition time in sorting out how to neutralize us Do I still have 100% faith in Bielsa yes I do so please nobody accuse me of knocking Bielsa or being too negative, I just don't understand why give your opponents extra time to plan our downfall.
One of the Super mods is a Norwich mod. In his exact words - he thinks we have suffered enough today...
