Oh dear let’s blame Brexit because Nissan aren’t going to build their “DIESEL POWERED” XTrail in Sunderland, might be more of a story if the true story was reported that most major automobile manufacturers (around the world) are simply scaling down their diesel powered motor vehicle production.
It’s funny how all those who seem to take great delight from announcements like that from Nissan seem oblivious when it comes to stories like Boeing opening a new factory in Sheffield......it’s almost as if they only want bad news shared on here. Cue more bad news stories from the ‘We’re doomed’ merchants.
But everyone else is leaving Don't all those other companies leaving because of brexit want a low corporation tax
Correct, just as DT claims that hundreds of firms are leaving ( including Airbus ), because his firm is sorting out all the paperwork and planning etc, well in my new job (8 months in) it is my job to make sure that heavy building equipment pile drivers, large cranes, huge earthmoving equipment, huge diggers etc get to site safely all over the U.K. believe me when I say we’re building factories, production plants, massive office complexes, plenty of these are for major well known companies, including well known supermarket companies building new distribution centres and actual supermarkets. Now yes I will say some companies will move some or all of their operations abroad, but nothing on the scale claimed by the remain faction and the EU biased mainstream media ( whom are all in the EU’s back pocket ) We are building a future outside the EU a brighter future.
I’m sure they do but every company will have different priorities and who knows what bespoke arrangements are being made behind the scenes to tempt business here (or more to the point, try and stop it leaving)?
The cult is growing stronger. Believe in Brexit. Believe in Brexit. Believe in Brexit. Ignore any logic. Believe in Brexit.
Leavers remain confident about their 2016 vote and it's pissing you off something rotten, Watford! We've had Project Fear in spades and people are deeply cynical. If a dog pukes in Barnsley, it's all Brexit's fault.
And conversely if companies leave the country citing Brexit as a reason in their press release, it's absolutely definitely nothing to do with Brexit. Confirmation bias is powerful (for both sides).
[QUOTE="If a dog pukes in Barnsley, it's all Brexit's fault.[/QUOTE] Aye oop Get away from the dog mavis Nought wrong with it It's brexits fault
I will try and find the clip from LBC where Nigel Farage is talking to some expert about investment in this country and the fella basically said the City will be having record investment. Some major companies are expanding here and all this talk about all the companies leaving is actually incorrect. Some companies will be setting up offices in the EU as they will be dealing with them. Like any business, they are preparing for change. The Remoaners just need something to bang on about. They have lost and need to move on.
Meanwhile in Italy The European Union's subversion of democracy contributed to the recession in Italy https://www.businessinsider.com/democracy-in-eu-and-recession-in-italy-2019-1?r=US&IR=T
Has anyone seen the latest MacDonalds advert? I was watching tonight and they are boasting that the beef is 100% British and all the toppings are from local farms.... sorry but wasn't MD's one of the firms that said Brexit would hit their food? Interesting that they are now boasting UK.
You mean like the economic "experts" Remain rely on that wanted us to join the Euro and predicted economic armageddon immediately after a Leave vote?
Which companies would they be? Some UK companies are opening man and a dog offices on the Continent for technical regulatory reasons. EU companies will do the same in the UK.
Like Chanel and many others that are setting up offices here. Funnily the remoaners never seem to mention that.
