Morning all. A cold day here, but dry for the time being. I need to get some more logs up from the fields as my pile by the house has nearly gone. Moved some yesterday and the wheelbarrow tyre was not really fully inflated making the push up the hill hard work. A small tractor and trailer would be useful.
Morning all. Cold and frosty start to the day and the temperature is not expected to rise greatly during the day. It is my eldest daughters birthday today, and I remember very well going to see Watford play Man Utd. Having delivered my wife to hospital I went to the game, and afterwards had great difficulty getting home because of snow. There was a degree of panic as a crush barrier had given way during the game, and I had not been heard of for hours. I have never been allowed to forget it.
Morning all. Dry and warmer than of late which allows me to get on outside. Mme's car did not want to start this morning when she needed it, flat battery again. It probably needs replacing, but put it on the charger for half an hour and it then went. Having dropped her off, I will now take her car to collect her instead of fetching some more logs up from the fields.
