Brilliant stuff with the defensive situation , can't believe how we controlled the second half so easily , was expecting to be under pressure
You captained Wan Bissaka on a double game week? Aguero, Sane or Sterling surely?!? You maverick!! Although Wan Bissaka is in my team and the clean sheet is welcomed!
Magnificent result. No fit CBs and haven't they just signed a new one for 3M. Tymo's crying into his warmed milky.
Let's all hail Ehab who by not selling Bowen and Turbo made this victory possible. Rounding off a good day by watching England in the adult version of rugby.
Make no mistake that was a fantastic result and statement of character, coming off the back of last weeks dismal game. TBH, a lot of us were not confident before game, with the defence situation, and in first half Stoke did out muscle us. Stoke, on paper, have a good side, valuable players, but we were not intimidated, took our game to them, and fair play to young Mackenzie up amongst them, great performance. Not forgetting Marshall, a bit iffy a couple of times, but great timely penalty save right before half time. Onwards and upwards, UTT.
7th time I’ve been wrong in 8 games Long may it continue How did the Centre Back pairing work? (I’m away so only followed the score)
Brilliant three points again. Especially after the last week performance. Well done to the team and especially the centre backs and Marshall who will be really happy tonight. We are still at the races for the playoffs and are still leading the form tables.
McKenzie played well he's a young kid and dedicated. He struggled last week but was stuck on left side today was on the right and looked so much better. Lichaj was stand out at the back
http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/285842/hull-city-stoke-match-thread Someone alert the Potteries RSPCA- there's a severe localised outbreak of poodle-itis with associated hallucinations of grandeur. Sugardaddy Coates has funded their overlong sojourn at the top table. now the club is broken it seems. Deluded angry fans with a misplaced sense of entitlement, it will take the new manager time to weed out the pisstakers in the dressing room. On a separate note, what kind of folk happily spend so much time in clay pits?
Whilst the 6-0's and the wins over TWS etc were fantastic, todays result after last weeks loss and the loss of the lead at Villa was a brilliant result. Well done to all...
Yes they have an impressive squad on paper. It just underlines the impressive work N.A has done with his patchwork squad. It's even better than usual watching us at the moment- each goal is celebrated with euphoria and each win almost feels like a giant kill, given the odds stacked against us.
Adkins isn't everyone's cup of tea, at times he isn't mine . But he keeps getting **** on and turning it into gold , fair play to him . At times Grosicki was wasteful today , but then when you think about it the amount of pressure he took off the makeshift defence in the 2nd half by starting countless attacks and getting the ball out that half was priceless
Given the players Stoke had I was surprised at how bang average they are. Great performance by City lovely 2nd goal.
