Result was fair, def. penalty in the first half. We started 2nd half well but utter ****e for the last 20 mins, game was ours and we blew it AGAIN! When will we ever learn...

Lol. Crouch shoved Stephens to be fair, not sure what he could do about that. We just are so poor at controlling games when we get in front! Shane Long giving it away all the time didn’t help. And not sure what Austin was doing coming on. Left us unable to counter. IMO those are the first things RH has got wrong.
What? We outplayed Burnley, then sat back and gave a daft penalty away with pretty much the last kick. It's a tough place to go and they're on form. It's really not a bad result, or performance. We were much better today than we were against Palace.

There was not a whole lot Stephens could have done about that pen. It was headed straight into his hand. It’s probably a legit pen. And a bit of a mistake by Stephens maybe to have his arm up, but he was trying to hold off Crouch. But IMO, it’s hardly the disastrous error people make it out to be. Burnley probably deserved that goal. You get the ball in the nice enough, you get lucky or someone makes a mistake. 1-1 is a fair result.
Still, that performance further convinced me we're safe. That spell after half time was superb. And Maya's back so he can thankfully take Stephens' place in the team permanently. Or until the next Asian Cup. When hopefully we'll have signed a better CB anyway.
Crouch was fouling him, then headed the ball against his hand, hardly Jack's fault, the ref should have given a foul for Crouch holding him down with his arms. Like someone said earlier, Ref looking for a chance to give Burnley a pen after the one not given first half.
What's the law on ball to hand/hand to ball?...Crouch headed the ball onto his arm from behind although his arm was in an unnatural position. Told you that you tempted fate Tom.
TBH - its total ****-ups like that will send any team down. It might be us as much as them. I think we will survive, but this does not help us at all.
Thought we could of done more in the last 20, but didn't turn out that way. Frustrating. Said I'd take a draw, and considering they should of had a pen, then I guess that's fair.
I'm annoyed but not gutted. Again, I've seen more than enough to convince me we're safe. And we'll cruise past Cardiff next week.
Next game will be a REAL test of how Ralph can get the players confidence back after a result like this . By that I mean , they must feel gutted .
