Armstrong and Slattery in for Valery and Hoj makes this a more attack minded team. We will be able to counter attack a bit better with Armstrong in it too. Defensively and in midfield a bit worried but looking forward to it. Nice to see Sims and Jones on the bench. Im guessing Sims can be played now we don't have to worry about him playing for 3 teams preventing a loan.
Playing central midfielders at full back isn’t normal behaviour for a premier league team with millions of pounds to invest. Especially when the managers desired system relies heavily on decent attacking full backs. But, we are where we are so fingers crossed it goes well
I still think that if Ralph had wanted someone in desperately he would've got them. I'll just add that JWP is also a RM with a brilliant right foot not a position a million miles away from a RWB.
