Will Grigg’s on Wearside… And you can meet Sunderland AFC’s deadline-day signing at the Stadium of Light club store on Saturday! The Lads’ new arrival will be greeting fans and signing autographs between 1pm and 1.30pm ahead of the Black Cats’ Stadium of Light showdown with AFC Wimbledon. It should be a good turn out - despite the weather.
A couple of hours away from the most anticipated line up of the season. Playing at home, in tough weather conditions, against the last place team, with 3 more games to play in the next nine days after today. How many of the January transfers will start today?
I reckon Dunne & Morgan to start and maybe Leadbitter from the bench. Grigg is not in the match day squad, Sterling has only done 1 training session.
Points safe at half time ,3-0, use the second half to think of how important gd could be . Would be nice , but will still be happy with 2-0
Some team and bench that like. Strong as ****. Baffled why O'nien gets dropped over Power at home to bottom of the league. Feel bad for the lad. But **** me we look strong. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Excellent thread mate. That team is built to attack so let's do that, NE room for excuses today. If things go as they should we can get Morgan and Sterling involved at some point. Well done to Leadbitter for coming here, hope he plays every game. Haway Sunderland!!!
No Baldwin, Gooch or O9... Well like the taxi cab driver said after a match in the Netflix documentary, "It's bloody cold and I want to go home and have my tea."
Very surprised that O'Nien doesn't start, considering his recent form but I'm sure he will be on for either Honeyman or Leadbitter. Gooch is injured apparently - not sure how. Maybe Baldwin has a knock or having a long rest
