Has slattery ever played RWB for the academy? I wonder if it may even be him at RWB?

Very interesting to see how they are positioned - I still think we should have brought in a right back, even on loan.

    He's wearing a Burnley tie, it's all a conspiracy.

Position from which he got the goal and played extremely well last week.

    No. He's a central/attacking midfielder.

He did well there for 30 minutes, but we were in the ascendancy for most of that, and he made several dodgey challenges in that time which with a more competant ref would have led to set pieces in dangerous areas and probably a yellow. It's not ideal to be playing JWP there. That said, wherever he plays you know he'll give his all and I hope he has another good game.

Prowse will be rwb most probably, he has played well there before. I can't see Slattery playing there.

Bertrand has been out for months and only been back 2 weeks.

    Be more postive <laugh>

I'm sorry but i'm going to say it, Cedric has been piss poor defensively all season and could only get a game at LWB I don't think that we will miss him that much personally.

Fair enough if he's only been back 2 weeks, I thought he'd been back about a month! Keen to have him back in the mix!!

JWP in for a diagonal long ball fest defensively. To be fair, would have been the same tactic if Cedric was playing.

I don't think anyone has really said they're disappointed Cedric has gone. And okay, fair enough if we couldn't replace with our first choice until Summer, wait until Summer. But I think a more experienced RB on loan until the end of the season would have been sensible.

It's banging head on table time. We're pretty much all in the same camp at being fine with Cedric going, as we (and others) keep on saying. That isn't the issue!

We'll be fine until the end of the season. JWP can play RWB and if necessary we can go 4 at the back and Stephens or Maya can play at RB. It's not a disaster we didn't replace Cedric in January.
