That’s why the player is pissed off. All was in place but Swansea never sent the paperwork to the EFL so the deal could be ratified.
I don’t know of one club that pays any transfer fee in its entirety up front. I can’t see how you’re missing the point. However skint we may or may not be or how we wanted to pay, Swansea had agreed to the terms.
You can’t see how i’m missing the point? Touché. My primary point was about the strategy for the whole window not what happened on deadline day. I’ve put my point across several times and can’t be arsed to do it again if you can’t be bothered to read it or take the comments in context fella!
the poor lad Dan James dropped from the squad today there will be a lot more happening on this one maybe he is trying to get his contract cancelled then he would be free to join Leeds
Doubt this, he was forced out by our inept Yanks, he wanted to stay at Swansea, he wanted a new contract, but our Yankee owners refused and basically forced this transfer on the young lad, that's why Jenkins decide that enough was enough, we had already moved some big wages off the books, and Jenkins new that this transfer would cause a backlash from the Jack army, as it stands now it has caused a boardroom split, with our Chairman resigning this evening, which is good news as far as the supporters are concerned, more to come, we just need now to get rid of our spiv Yankee masters......................
So what you are saying is that the Chairman who stepped in to block the James move to Leeds at the 11th hour has basically decided to spend more time with his family. Looks like your Yankee owners are not too pleased. But that's your problem, with your player and your owners, enjoy. I won't be saying another word about James until he pulls on a Leeds shirt.
