23rd june Probably last chance to see them.. If i can tick this one of, there's not really that many of the must see bands left, they are all either packing up, or have packed up. I'll be buzzing if we get tickets for this... Bit gutted i've missed out seeing a few of the bests band.
There isn't a single decent music venue in Wales. Cardiff Uni great hall maybe? Beyond that, **** all.
The Motorpoint is ok and Cwb Ifor Bach is good for small bands but then there's no transport after the gigs. It's a mess unless you want to watch some boring big stadium band in The Millennium.
The small venues are great too. International 1&2, boardwalk, academy. I used to like Gmex too, during Mondays/James/Roses days. Mororpoint is ****e by the way, can't stand the place. Acoustics there are rubbish.
There's nothing in Swansea. There used to be the Patty Pavillion. I've seen The Fall, Morrissey, Gorky's, Super Furries, Space, Electric 6 (they were ****e, fair play) there. Not any ****ing more. Bastards.
Gorkys zygotic mynci ? I saw them when I was out of my ****ing tree on acid at some little festival near Newport yonks ago
They're ****e. One of the Welsh bands that I still like is Super Furry Animals, Herman Loves Pauline is ****ing superb.
They're brilliant man, what the **** you on about? Were anyway, they no longer tour or release music. You heard El Goodo yet?
