Jeremy was (ergh) a family member. It's obviously been on the cards for a while now as it always is with cancer, but it came quickly at the end. There was no great protracted suffering and he some good days as recently as a couple days ago. You always look for the silver linings in these kind of things I suppose. Wonderful man, truly and sincerely the only reason he ever wanted a platform was to give perspectives and share things that made the world a better place. Luckily for us he gave us plenty of laughs as a by-product.

As you might imagine just like in his work when in his company he was quite reserved and patient, he never really sought to be the centre of attention of his own accord like you would think of most performers, but once you got him going you got plenty of that kind of rant (usually less broadcast-friendly) and he relished in it. With no time constraints to cut him short. Magical.

Christ it's slippery outside. I slid all the way down my road while somehow managing to stay on my feet. Luckily I stopped before I went onto the main road! That was a heart stopping experience to say the least!
