I know it sounds slightly ridiculous but I’m just not so sure about that. Our team has got where it is by beating the teams in the lower half of the table. We've struggled against the top teams. So consistently and ruthlessly beating the weaker teams, I think, is what will get us promoted. If we lose to Ipswich, even if we win or draw with Leeds, I’d start to be much more concerned about whether we can take enough points from our easier run. Whereas a narrow loss to Leeds might look bad from a title challenge point of view, but won’t shake my confidence (yet) that we can make up for it the way we did in the first half of the season. Happy to be proven wrong!
A draw at Leeds and a win against Ipswich and I'd be dancing naked in my street. But I'm not really that worried about the Leeds game. I was more nervious about the WBA away game as well. I can see your point, and think I agree. Also, scrape a win against Leeds, lose at home to Ipswich, Lambert and lose that unbeaten record. I don't want that atmosphere hitting the dressing room. Would totally decimate the good vibes from beating Leeds. It's then all up in the air.
I think any win will do it actually, even just 1-0, as theirs will go down by one and we have scored more goals
He names the team in advance every game so far. No idea why. Does it at the pre game press conferences. Any of you up for the game?
