It is bloody freezing there, though. My friends joke about how little I seem to care about cold weather and Wembley bothers me, so **** knows what it's like for anyone that doesn't like it. It's one of the many things about the place that I hope we've paid attention to for our new ground. It may be overlooked when making grand schemes, but the little details make a massive difference.
I wonder if new WHL has meteorology kit installed in the stadium. Would be interesting to know what the temperature was at various positions on wednesday, and try to compare/contrast with whatever was recordable at Wembley on the same day. One thing I do know : Klopp would be excuse-hamstring if Spurs manager. With the new WHL pitch retractable to escape from the elements, it would not be in the state he was whining about at Anfield the other day.
The fact that season ticket holders get their money back if they don't go probably exacerbates this too. I Agree that Wembley is very cold in mid winter. To be fair to the designers it rarely has events in December to February.
Pisses me off that a majority of the hand driers in the toilets blow out cold air...****ing great idea in winter
