One thing that everyone (especially Harry ****espout...) is either missing or willfully ignoring about Tielemans joining Leicester: it's a loan with no clause to make it a permanent move, so anyone acting as if it's a permanent switch is ill-informed or a Baddiel-faced twat who is deliberately omitting facts to play to their dickheaded Narrative
Correct. And that was because Silva could go the other way. Jardim ( Monaco Coach for now ) knows Silva and didn't want Tielemans. Lots of stuff can change in the summer. Toby was on loan at Southampton, was a success and we were able to step in. If Tielemans is a success then we can make our move.
The difference there is Southampton did have the option to make Toby's loan permanent yet didn't trigger it, which really makes no sense considering they knew we were making overtures yet they let the option expire instead of immediately get on the phone to Atletico to wrap up the deal when they had all the cards I'm thinking that probably had a part to play in passing on Batshuayi (well, one of the parts, as well as his poor form at Valencia and ridiculous wage demands...)
