Nah he doesn't have the mobility for that at all. Never really for the hype about him tbh, he's decent on FIFA but never seen it IRL
If we sign a forward any time soon it'll be someone like Son, if we go foreign I think Timo Werner fits the mould best but we'd face a fight to sign him. So someone HG like Jarrod Bowen is more likely IMO. All talk for the summer though now, really.
Yeah I've only seen snippets of him as well and he seems more of a CF which makes him pointless as he'll never oust Kane.
Werner would be fantastic but I think he'll go either Bayern or someone who'll offer him a fat packet.
I'd really like us to go for Ollie Watkins, big fan of the lad and I've got mates who are Exeter fans so I know they'd love to see a former academy player make it in the Prem. I've only seen YouTube clips of Bowen but he also looks pretty decent, solid strike rate as well.
Fat Sam on Sky ...he scores goals where ever he goes but he won't get game time at Spurs so Should go to West Ham...

I'm not too surprised by us not getting one this month, even on loan. I get the impression that Poch is absolutely not interested in loaning players into the club, because he wants to develop them long term. We have 4 senior CMs, plus Skipp, and only two can play at a time really. Not to mention that Alli can play there when he's fit again if we needed, and even Eriksen at a push. We need to add quality there but that's not going to happen in this window. The value in the market just isn't there in January, now more so than ever before. It's why we're seeing so many loan deals. Unless you're signing from South America or the US, or other leagues which are out of season right now, its just not likely that you're going to get a good player at anything close to a reasonable price.
To be fair to him I don't think he's a bad player, it's not really worked for him at Valencia though his Chelsea record isn't all that bad considering he barely started a game, he looked great at Marseille and he was lethal when he went Dortmund last season but it just seems a pointless signing from our perspective, Llorente can do a job in Kane's absence if we continue playing to his strengths and then once Kane's back, Llorente (and Batman if he joined) go straight back to the bench.
What does surprise me if I'm honest, is that if we've got supposedly £40m to spend, why on earth have we not focused that on CM which is easily our biggest problem area? Spurs, eh?... We definitely love making things hard for ourselves! £40m gets us a bloody good CM.
Yeah Watkins looks decent too according to Youtube. Never really seen either of them play but promising on both counts.
On Batshuayi, I heard that Valencia just cancelled his registration at a player, apparently their manager really dislikes him because he won't get on top of his nutrition and shift a couple of pounds, and also won't do the work off the ball that he wants.
Yeah, Poch would definitely want a player like that

I’ve seen Watkins play for Exeter a few times but only caught clips of him since he’s been at Brentford. Was clear at Exeter he was destined for much bigger things and it seems like he’s done really well going from League 2 to the Championship as he’s arguably Brentford’s best player. Think he fits the Poch ethos of being young, English, skilful and lots of potential to further grow.

Definitely the ****test overall deadline day. Biggest signing so far is some unknown guy from the MLS becoming Toon's record signing. That's a seriously risky signing in my eyes, MLS is like League 2 equivalent, if that.
If any of this is close to the truth, Palace should walkaway before it's too late.
