Yes that was very unfortunate for Connolly fair play to him. Would be a decent gesture if the club cancelled his contract by mutual consent so he could join Hull as a free agent.
Absolutely Sparks he has been a good squad member so deserves to be freed. Although I see Hull have signed Liam Ridgewell - free agent.

Nothing to inspire there. WoL has provided what they believe to be our 25 to be submitted. Bacuna for Connolly as shown above but Healey for Damour? Looks like Bacuna can play full back or midfield so some flexibility. I don't think either Healey or Damour are up to Prem standard but where are we weaker, midfield or up front? I see Ledley has had his contract cancelled so is also a free agent.
That may be half the problem with NW - always looking for "work rate" rather than skills. A bit of a one trick pony approach that could be holding us back.

Correct Nin. He couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. I might be wrong but I think his Fulham debut was against us. The Russian guy was a better bet. A big lump who knew how to score. All history now though.
