I hope we are going to have different standards because otherwise why the **** are we leaving? It can’t be because of immigration because let’s face it we need the tax paying younger workers to help the economy, filll the NHS and do jobs that we don’t want to do. And you’d have to be really dumb to trust politicians to control immigration when all this time they could have reduced the amount of time people stayed to three months unless they had a job or independent means like they do in Belgium but the politicans haven’t done this because of their tax paying, filling the NHS and doing jobs we don’t want to do bit. It can’t be because we want to be more democratic as we’re going to be reduced from having directly elected MEPs on PR to being more directly governed by unelected Lords. It can be to take back control because everyone seems to hate parliamentary democracy right now. It can’t be because of blue passports as Croatia have those anyway. It can’t be because of the law because I remember the headlines with the pictures of the judges who were enemies of the people. So I hope we do have different standards otherwise this past couple of years seems pretty pointless.
