That's not how I understand the deal to be set up. We pay 1-2 million loan fee (depending on what journo you read), and if we get promoted we make the deal permanent. 'with add ons' (appearances, goals, stay up??) this fee 'rising' to 10 million. If we don't get promoted he returns to Swansea who pocket the loan fee we paid, though his contract will run out at the end of the season so he presumably be sold for peanuts then or go somewhere on a free.
