This has been on the cards since last January when he stalled on his contract renewal. The lack of forward thinking from the club regarding the midfield is astonishing.
Good luck to him, he's served us well. As you say though Taff, our transfer policy (might be an oxymoron) has let us down in general, but specifically in centre mid. Come the end of the year we have Ralls in the engine room and that's it.
Makes you think all these reports are leaked to give the impression the club is trying hard - or is it just me being cynical?

Really not sure how I feel about this one. Beginning of Jan linked with Sala, Clyne, Tameze, Toure, Remy etc etc, end up with Bacuna from a Championship relegation threatened side. .. I'll hold off on too much judgement until he's played a couple of games, but I'm not convinced.
Must admit I'm fully in the same camp as you on this one Jay. All we can do is give the guy a chance and encourage him - the last thing he'll need is for us to get on his back from the off.
