The thread in question was Spuly's poll about Mahrez and two lesser lights ... Spuly himself was the first to ask for it to be closed - in jest - coz it was getting no votes ... in fairness I did write the words 'close thread' but again in jest after a post from @Archers Road about the relative meanings of "Le Tissier" and "Mahrez" ... nowt else ... I think the broader reference to "arabia" might have prompted Barbs to embark on one of her crusades ... this time aimed my way ... nowt much unusual there

Bristol, bit dark and grey and cold but **** all apart from that. Rarely snows here properly anyway something to do with the Bristol channel or something some interesting **** told me ages ago
