    So 4 PL teams want Charlie on loan, but we are only interested in a permanent move. These teams must be in the bottom half. We know Charlie has goals in him, so basically we would be giving goals away to our rivals....madness. Better to sit on him until the summer...and have him available for emergencies.

    According to Sky, Ralph said that there may still be possibilities today as everyone stops playing poker and puts the cards on the table. Che Adams is not happening as Birmingham want to keep him....especially as they would be unable to replace him due to a transfer embargo.

    Charlie Austin turns down a permanent move to a championship club, to stay and fight for his place at Southampton.
