I suppose this just relates to the striker (s) we will hopefully be signing today. Who do you reckon? Grigg, Evans, Eaves, Surridge, the list yesterday almost seemed endless. Should be an exciting day....
I hope we don't start just sending offers all over the place. Bearing in mind most clubs wont want to lose their top striker on deadline day.
This is beginning to smack of desperation signings, it should have been done and dusted by now , we will sign the only f @cker who will come. I'd rather not sign someone for the sake of it, we got this far without Wyke and Watmore being fit, go with Kimpioka and although not ideal should be enough.
I don't agree so much with this but rather the only player that the selling club will let go. I believe we are still a massive club for each of the players we are linked with who I would have thought to be quite desperate to come.
Sunderland are now in pole position sign both Jason Cummings from Nottingham Forest and Andy Cook from the #Saddlers. Jason Cummings is now travelling to Wearside after a deal fell through at #Pompey. Cook will be a permanent signing with a bid of around £700,000 already being made. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image 11:44 am · 31 Jan 2019 · Twitter for iPhone
Jason Cummins is a funny one. He looked alright against us but Peterborough haven't been able to get shot of him and it hasn't been for the want of trying.
A little underwhelming with the players we have been linked with but they will get my support if they sign.
https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...pdates-fans-remains-tight-lipped-on-transfers ,Donald wanted to let fans know that there has been a lot of wild speculation this morning, as you can imagine with it being transfer deadline day, and his plan for today is to go about our business quietly and get on with the job of sorting out the deals and negotiations for all of the players that the club need before the clock ticks past 11:00pm. Donald was keen to stress that he won’t confirm or deny any rumours or speculation to any outlets until after the deadline has passed, so to ensure that the club can go about their business today efficiently without adding fuel to fire of the tonne of speculation which is floating about the press and social media
