Well yes it's true, most British farms are too small to produce food at a competitive price, some will have to sell up and make larger farms.

As there’s a lot of people saying what we voted for in 2016, it’s interesting to look back at the key presentation in pride of place on the Leave website. It’s been archived now but it’s worth a revisit at https://d3n8a8pro7vhmx.cloudfront.n...hments/original/1463496002/Why_Vote_Leave.pdf

There’s a lot of stuff missing. And some stuff added. I noticed the following:

    Missing:
    - any mention of being poorer
    - any mention we’d still have to pay the EU £39bn
    - any mention there was no plan how to do brexit or that it could mean all sorts of things to different people
    - any mention of the jobs we need immigrants for like nurses and doctors or that they pay tax that supports the NHS

    Included:
    - a lovely statement that ‘we’ will negotiate the terms of a deal before we even trigger the process to leave (strange, as ‘we’ didn’t exist, there was no leave team, and we are now happy to ‘just leave’ and say that was the decision all along)
    - no mention of whether we’d be in a customs union or the single market, though it’s claimed we’d be in a ‘free trade zone from Iceland to Turkey to Russia)
    - a lot about money for the NHS
    - the next 5 countries to join include Turkey with 76m and a helpful map zooming in on Turkeys border with Syria and Iraq (none of the 5 countries have since joined or look likely to)
    - why the Euro is a failing currency ( but no mention we don’t use it)
    - why the Schengen scheme makes it easy for terrorists (but no mention we are not in it)

How much do we trust our governments ?
    Was Lady Di murdered ?
    Was Marilyn Monroe murdered ?
Was JFK killed by the CIA ?
Where's the Photo's of the 9/11 plane hitting the Pentagon ?
Did the USA land on the moon ?
Did Iraq have weapons of mass destruction or a catapult ?
Do both the Obama's have meat and 2 veg ?
Did Corbyn tell blatant lies in Parliament ?

Ha ha so why are the Leave supporters now claiming we always knew we’d be less well off (Digby Jones yesterday) and that we always intended it would be s complete break (and how come the government spent 31 months negotiating something different to that?)

So you knew all the other stuff but didn’t know that the backstabbing snowflakes were going to poison the negotiations and didn’t take that into account?

Doesn’t sound like much of a plan.

Thank god you lot weren’t around in WW2 either as you would have probably spent the whole time pretending you had something to do with World War 1 instead of actually dealing with the present.

I agree, but what does "out" (nothing more, nothing less) mean? No longer being an EU member is out, nothing more and nothing less isn't it?

It mean being out,not paying money in,not being governed through Brussels. And a time scale for not having to go by any of their rules.
