    Kinda wish Zaha had done that about 50 minutes before, and wasn't banned for the Fulham match, but tell you what, I'll take that point after what was a bit of a sluggish performance. Ralph did well in the end and I thought we edged the second half, despite being slightly....slow on the uptake today.

    Taking points when you play badly. Sign of champions is that, Tom!

    What an aggressive response by you. I was stating an opinion as they have done so well playing away recently. They also have fast wing players who we are not very good at playing against. Should I just blindly say that Saints will win because they are the Saints. Also i didn't say they would win just that they wouldn't win.

    I wasn't at the match so my opinion won't impact the score anyway.

    Agreed. Palace played well, sat a little deep as the second half proceeded and allowed us onto the front foot. Palace relying more on the counter attack in the second half.

    Not a bad result against a team that can be dangerous.

    Draw or win Saturday, then beat Cardiff for a 5 point return will be pretty positive.

    With our back 5 we have a tendency to look a bit too negative - it relies on attacking wing backs and of our starting XI unfortunately Valery and Targett are probably the weakest two.

    Swap to 4 at the back and the emphasis becomes more about the midfielders, and we look so much more exciting.

    Don't mind if we go 5 at the back away at Burnley, but please 4 at the back for Cardiff at home

    I think Palace are one of those teams where we're not particularly set up to play against. And they did beat City away and gave Liverpool a huge scare at Anfield. Not sure about Burnley. Cardiff I think we could well score a few. Anyway that's 9 in 5 games for Ralph now. Roll on Saturday!

    Was a match we really didn't want to lose, and we didn't. More than a result clear of the drop zone now...get something against Burnley and thrash Cardiff and our circumstances will look fairly decent.

    Palace are a far better team away than home. They just counter attack you over and over again. It is why they are so dangerous
