I think our odds of staying up are good, if still some distance from guaranteed. But the talk of how we're going to push for 12th (or even top half) is probably a bit misplaced. We're Newcastle, with more attacking and less defending...managed well enough to finish somewhere in the lower midtable if things go well, but lacking the quality to push too much higher than that.
I've always thought Targett was decent but he is no use tonight. Palace have sussed that is they sit behind the ball we have one play and its not a goal scoring one.
