Chris Simpkin had left City and had been retired from football for 20 years ( ish).
    Not the same at all.

Eleven defeats in a row..in a league made up of 12 clubs?

Is that a record? Did they lose to each club or did they play one twice?

The eggchasing is about to start again, local media whipping up interest in a RL world Cup and a derby match etc.

Question for FC fans, didn't Hull have a record defeat and a losing run of over 10 defeats or something so why keep Lee Radford? Is Adam Pearson backing a Terry Dolan with Martin Fishesque blind faith?

I remember someone ringing up Sportstalk on RH and complaining they had hardly mentioned City's forthcoming game. That annoying little twit Lloyd says it wasn't the job of the BBC, you know, sniff. What I have to say is, err, you know, sniff, promote professional outfits. Then around comes the Super League and yet another Biggest Derby In The Universe...

Great excitement that the centre of the rugby universe has got 2 World Cup games. No mention of the fact Doncaster has 3, Warrington has 3, and Leigh have 3, none of them a stadium over 12,000.

The council has replaced our old friend Terry Geraghty with Councillor Dave Craker to inform Look North that all the pubs and restaurants will be full when the RL World Cup rolls into town, no mention of the attendance last time England played here.

How many visitors do they think will be coming as surely all the tickets will be snapped up by the rugby mad locals?
One thing is certain, there will be less than come to Hull for City matches in a season. Let's hope the police are more welcoming to them than they are to football fans.
The pubs won't be as full as they are when the .England football team is on TV.

Come and see the out of control professional sportsmen brawling with each other, egged on by their employers as per this vid..

It's a family sport you know.

For ****'s sake, why have you bumped this? All you've done is rile the usual suspects to talk bollocks about something that few people care about. I'd rather talk about Laura Plummer than this ****.

I heard the Egyptian govt knew it was the world famous Hull RL derby coming up and wanted to gain global kudos and goodwill by releasing her so she could attend.

Dave Craker, red and white and cricket. I used to work with him and it's fair to say he's a very 'interesting character'.

Is it the Dave Craker who grew up on Bransholme?
