They would still shine in the Championship. With modern training, equipment etc and none of the crunch tackling of those days could possibly have done it at a higher level. Hard to say really.

It’s ridiculous comparing previous generations. Waggy, Chillo, Butler we’re decent in their time but it wasn’t as professional a game as it is now. They may have thought they were taking a professional approach to it but in reality, compared to today, they were amateurish. They wouldn’t cope today. Can't compare then with the competition today.

But with modern training methods and equipment they would have had improved fitness to add to their natural ability. A lot of modern footballers are no more skilful than footballers from previous years just fitter.

You could say that about any sports. You can’t compare then with now.

If Waggy was a better footballer, he’d be a better footballer. Seering insight.

    Hope it’s what we wanted.

Not keen on the shot of the fans involved shaking Ehab’s hand.

Fans at the heart of the process. Apart from the "industry influencers" and other twats with no connection to the club.

    Watched the video.
To be honest, it makes me feel utterly sick.
It's not what we all wanted. Nobody ****ing asked for it in the first place. Except twat face.
Even the way they handled this so called 'collaborative' process was a disgrace, more slaps in the face and kicks in the knackers.
How they can shake hands with that twat is beyond me after all him and his father have done against 'our' club. How low would you like me to bend?

-> "After watching the video this is how I think it might look"

    Me too.
So, let's stop and think for a moment.
The Allams started ****ing about with our heritage (our name, our crest) because 'City' was common and lousy, and 'Tigers' was strong and could be leveraged commercially.
So now we have a totally unnecessary further redesign from a starting point of a crest that had Tigers on it, to one that doesn't have Tigers on it, but now has City back on it.
You couldn't really make it up.
And shove your 1 904 up your arse.
Sorry, but this just isn't 'my' club anymore, and won't be until they **** off for good.
We're doing so well on the pitch in spite of the twats, but I'm honestly sick to death of it all. and am sickened that fellow fans play along with their ****wit games. Shame on you.
    I'm out.

It does concern me that some fans are still playing along. Seems they’ve just weeded out some happy clappers who will nod and smile along for both this and the other fans representative thing where one of the people on that had just conveniently won a holiday from the club’s sponsor.

**** on sports talk last night referred to the old liar as Dr. Allam before ‘correcting’ himself, it was pure cringeworthy listening.
