For some strange reason signing a player from the European Champions who had 18 months to run on a 50K a week contract is considered no investment.

FFS! Fell for that one. Said it would take 20 mins. Took 75. They tend to forget that you have to think about your answer. Let's just say that my frustration was vented at the EFL. Bar stewards!

Yes I know what you mean however, it's best that we let them know what we think of their wonderful work.

 

I think you will find we have signed them and Alfie McCalmont on a new contract. In my humble opinion they appear to be quality. Perhaps there will be more?

 

As always, their quality will only b obvious when playing for us in our league. If good they’ll be linked with other clubs within a few weeks anyway

 

But James surely isn’t the only player he said yes to.

 

We bought out the remainder of his contract of 50k a week I believe.

 

I don’t know, the club keeps things very quiet. We only found out about the interest in James because someone saw it on Bielsa’s files when he did the spygate press conference.
