How do you know I didn't turn it off halfway through?

    Imbecile.

Nosferatu is a great film, in my opinion. The original is better but Klaus Kinski is excellent in the remake.

And his daughter is a proper sort. Or she was, anyway. No idea what she looks like now.

Nastassja? Yeah, she had the most beautiful eyes and face.

Loved her in Tess and the remake of Cat People.

She was a very good actress and was brilliant in Paris, Texas. A great film, in my opinion and great music by Ry Cooder.

Haven't seen her in anything for a long while.

Apropos "classic films" Is Citizen Kane all that? I recall seeing it decades ago, back when there were only 3 channels and you had to watch whatever was on offer. Can't remember thinking it was the greatest film of all time back then but it always makes an appearance in the top 10 lists.

I did like The Third Man which would probably have been seen around the same time. I dug the music too.

I like classic old movies as much as ER likes unpadlocked school gates but I never really got it with Citizen Kane. Now, Mr Smith Goes to Washington on the other hand...

Imho The Third man is a superior movie to Citizen Kane and a Touch of Evil is superior to both. This however is just my opinion and is not a reflection on anybody elses taste in wall decoration.

I have in the past had various movie posters adorn walls in houses I lived in. My favourite poster was attack of the fifty foot woman. I also had an original The day the earth stood still which was a cracker.
