Again and? The disparity is more obvious because of the differing ambitions of the owners Newcastle have been shat on by Ashley Most pl clubs can pay £30-40m for players now
Spot on of course but when a whole region known for being football mad starts turning its back then football needs to take notice.
True. There's always been clubs who were bankrolled more than others, it's a touch more obscene than it used to be but it is what it is and I certainly don't begrudge Man City their success. Disagree about it evening up the Tiote goal though. Every media outlet and pundit agreed that decision was a shambles (though it was early enough in the game i doubt it would have affected the outcome). This one was a referee imposing himself in the game for no good reason but De Bruyn should have played to the whistle, even school-kids are taught that!
I commented on another thread earlier in the week that I'd settle for the HMRC investigation winding the club up and us having to start again if it meant getting rid of Ashley and I mean it. If he was actually somehow arrested for something that would be even better.
Just a gulf in class. We panic, have no ideas in the final third and Atsu is trying all these stupid things with 3/4 players around him. We'd never a chance, so no mass ranting, but even when we get the ball we look like children.
10 minutes ago we levelled and still on the BBC website it says: They just can't be bothered to change it can they, the assumption being they'll be ahead again soon. It's a fair assumption but still...
