There is so much more to this though. It's not as if he can go out and pick exactly who he wants to sign for that money. He's got to find someone who is prepared to sign for us, wages are a massive cosideration as part of any deal. He's got to have numbers in the squad to be able to cope with a long season so that rules out dropping it all on a few quality players (who again you have to convince to come) and he's been given it in dribs and drabs anyway bar the relegation season. Agree not all have worked out but that's as much a symptom of the level we are operating at in the transfer market.
