What's the worst job you've ever had? For me, it has to be dustman (or rentboy). Many moons ago, I signed up for a stint on the dust via an agency. Getting soaking wet and covered in detritus at 6am didn’t really do it for me, especially for £3 an hour, but I stuck at it until I had enough to buy my first car (Vauxhall Nova). Bye.
Working in a cash and carry, humping heavy loads about for slave wages (I was a student at the time). Lasted four weeks before telling them where to stick it. Or working for Iceland during winter (when I was also a student) and they didn't even provide a proper uniform so I had to hump around frozen stuff all day when the temperature outside was in the low 00s.
Hmmmm, that's a difficult one actually. 99% of my jobs have been in the Oil Industry, some great, some awful. Difficult to say. It's a bit like trying to decide what your favourite soup is.
It was the scene when I had to shave all my hair off as I had been wrongly diagnosed with bum flu. please log in to view this image
I don't think I've ever had a truly sh.it job. The worst thing about any job I've had has been the people, particularly some of the dregs of society that have fallen through the cracks and ended up in social housing. I've had to deal with murderers, terrorists, sex offenders, mentally ill, schizophrenics, sociopaths, crack-whores, drunks etc AND THAT'S JUST THE PEOPLE IN MY TEAM HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though, you get to see some things that make your blood boil and your toes curl. Reason I stuck to it was the second job I ever did was for an OAP who had dementia but his daughter was living with him, she'd have been late 20's/early 30's or so and as I was working in her bathroom she came in wearing only a towelling robe and the belt was a bit loose and came undone. I could bullsh.it and say I saw her hairy minge but that would be a lie, she was wearing knickers but I did get a brief glimpse of tit before she realised what had happened and did herself up. I've spent the intervening 30 years hoping for something like that to happen again!
