Most of my life. Roughed it for a few years in tough holes like Leeds and Hull. Before returning to more civilised surroundings.
I returned after trying to carry our missionary work in Leeds and Hull. The ****s are those who move straight there from cities to retire and complain about everything and want to stop kids playing and enjoying themselves as it disturbs their peace and quiet.. People moving to Hull to retire isn't a problem for it of course as no one does.
Why do you keep going on about Hull? This thread is about Norwich. Come on admit it. You keep being mean to Hull because secretly your fancy her don't you? All these mean comments are because you're too shy to say you love Hull but secretly you've got a tiny little lob on for her.....
You're clearly proud of where you are from, which is right, proper and actually good to hear. But I can I ask why you didn't support Trinity or Town instead of City? Was it just that City offered a chance of watching local professional football, or another reason? Not intended as any sort of pop at you by the way, just interested given your evident pride in your home town.
Not that it's relevant to this thread but Business Insider names Hull as on of the 25 best places in the UK to retire to. In Fact it came in at a respectable 16th. Now the way some people talk you'd have thought it would have made the 25 worst places to retire to.
No no one retires to Hull. Is that because there's too many kids playing and enjoying themselves and they would disturb their peace and quiet?
No. It is because it isn't an attractive place to retire to. Though I hear the residents of OPE enjoy kids hanging out and enjoying themselves. Just like they always have according to that female copper.
