Agree there jay. In line with the summer window which wasn't good.
The sala incident has understandably derailed things but panicking won't help.
Colin as much as said yesterday his heart isn't in it and he'll go with what we've got.
I'd rather that than suffer with knee jerk signings.
I suppose a €2M loan fee is affordable even if we go down. The extra €1M if we stay up would be good value.
The €30M option clause is a scary thought though.
    Which way would you jump?
Im comfortable with the first 2 elements less so the 3rd.
I'd be more interested in tamaze and forgoe the striker as it stands.

Now that Arnautovic has confirmed he's staying at West Ham, I'd rather get Andy Carroll on loan. He's out of contract in the summer and free so he'd be a cheap option.

I know he's been a bit of a sick note through his career, but right now he'd fit Warnock's type of game down to the ground.

He's a right bruiser and will get stuck in - not saying that's the way we should play in the future but at the moment I doubt "silky skills" is the way to go for the next 15 games.

Yep, we're at that time in the window. Pick any random player broadly in our price range, throw his name out and see if it sticks (or in one of those above Schicks).

It's a bloody lottery and I never win on that either. Bah humbug!!!

Agreed if he can stay fit. He has always given us a hard time. I like the guy and his swashbuckling style - bit like Tony and Mark Hately from history.

Trouble is he could play for 50 minutes, get a knock and be out for 6 games. That's why few clubs have shown any interest.

Wages would be high but sod that for survival.

I Wiki'd him. Striker aged 22, 16 goals in 67 games for Brugges since 2015. Hardly prolific but a big bugger at 6ft 3ins.

It’s a no for Carroll for me. Can’t hit a barn door 9 times out of 10 and spends most of his time out injured.
