Is that one of those areas in London where the Police won't usually police unless its absolutely necessary?
I don’t think there’s any areas they won’t police tbf. But there are 20,000 fewer police now than 8 years ago, and no shortage of criminals.
Hooligans are doing their bit for the economy though, lots of Stone Island flying off the shelves so, every cloud.
The old Millwall were dockers and the sons of dockers. Most still lived in Bermondsey. Today’s lot, I doubt if many of em even live in the area. All wannabes from the burbs.
When I went it was all kids mainly aged 10-12 years old, it was a Prem team that they'd played twice the season previously so probably wasn't much interest in it. Did have half a paving slab lobbed at the coach, **** looked gutted when it bounced off
When the PoPo turn up you see them all, shutters down and running across the roof, ****ing mad men. Some of the **** that goes on around that trading estate is unbelievable.
Off to the match tomorrow I think, unless the forecast is right and it gets called off, it’s only Burnley (famous last words ) so we should be making it 9 on the bounce under Ole.
