RB cover LB cover CB cover a first team no 8 (or box to box or what have you) a striker to compete up front with firmino specifically a wide forward. Assumptions: 1. mingolet goes, karius stays gone, Kelleher and grabara are not good enough 2. Ki is too young for RB cover position, camacho is not good enough and doesn't want to stay anyway 3. Moreno goes (yay) Lewis is not good enough as LB cover 4. Matip leaves as was rumoured for this january. No current youth is good enough (phillips for example) 5. no 8 position keita and ox for one of those positions, milner goes and lallana goes leaving only windy. 6. sturridge and origi finally go meaning we have to look at brewster, duncan and glatzel and see if any one is good enough. 7. shaqiri for one wide forward, assume klopp doesnt think wilson is good enough. Ojo leaves. So thats 3 for first team and 4 "reserves" One good left full back, thinking still about Ki and seeing if a 17 year old is really up to this as 4th CB or 3rd RB (assuming gomez and taa rotate)
Laughed like **** when I read your post on the Spuds board about us winning the league cup in the last 10 years, but got me thinking, they actually believe finishing top 4 is more important than winning silverware. Well frankly..... and this is being serious now not just rising to your blatant wum you are disguising with a bandit smiley/ he played left full for rodgers before klopp arrived and was 18... he was playing as an 18 year old for england 21s and got this cruciate ligament injury. Literally just as klopp arrived. A bad challgene in a meaningless stupid game He played last season as a 20 year old in rotation with TAA for RB slot and played quite a lot of games before picking up an ankle injury. We actually rushed him back ourselves too quick and then let him off to england duty which was utter stupidity and then he got tipped and landed on it and was out. We then again rushed him back and he wasn't right so had to have surgery. He actually played two full games on it in league and when we took decision to actually fix it. If anything he was badly managed by LFC medical staff. the clear lesson is pull these guys out of international duty and be stronger with klopp on availability. this season he played most games and klopp was squad managing before Christmas giving him just a couple rests but using him then to rest TAA and it was as RB that ben mee assaulted him fomr behind and he slid into a hoarding. Whats this sound like BTW..... TAA. took decision the lad felt "ok" before that recent game he played the full 90 in and now he's out for how long? perhaps our LFC ire should be directed at medical staff just a wee bit more.
