Well it won't be Moses - not that we'd pay those reported wages anyway.............. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46984393
Respecting everyones wishes and opinions, not taking anything away from anyone. As much as I love my club, I just can't get excited for signings at the moment. Time will heal it, but my mind is still in the English Channel and am still constantly thinking of Emiliano and Dave and the struggles that their poor families are currently going through. I've seen many people say "if he wasn't signing for Cardiff, no one would bat an eyelid". Now, it may be true that we would be sorrowful and gutted for whomever it was, this may be true, until it happens to your club it just cannot be explained.
Hmm...OK, don't want to upset anyone so should we all stop posting about everything other than the tragedy?
with respect dude trouble is jay time waits for no one, so we will have 2 move on its inevitable ...........so I`ll show my respect at arsenal on Tuesday and then that's it for me I`ll move on, yes everyone is different and I respect each individual for they`re right 2 deal with it the way they personally feel they have 2........yep difficult time 2 be a Cardiff fan but all the same they need us more than ever so heads must stay up and lets show this premier league what a passionate bunch of taffy-dils we are. one good thing 2 come from this is the realism the human race(not all I know) has more in common that not and empathy is still alive and kicking, when the chips are down we come together.......no football club divides no race divides no political divides........just one love
Right, I’m getting back in the saddle. Window shuts this week. Will City be getting in a right back and midfielder? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...cardiff-city-resurrect-move-8million-15728733 Can’t see a striker coming in and so we’re sruck with Nouiasse, Zahore, Ward but unsure about Healey’s status.
I think Colin will need to rethink his 25 with more attacking options. 3 keepers, 3 centre backs 4 full backs. We've only got 4 CMs so we need a purchase there unless you count Reid as an attacking CM. NML, Murphy, Harris and junior as the wide men. That's 19, so 6 to go. Ken, ward, Healy and Niasse makes 23. A new midfielder and a full back and it's done!
Colin was after a right back who could play centre back. Does he fit the bill? It's gone quiet on the fullback dalman went to watch at the same time as tamaze.
No need for Murphy to be in the 25. Put in an u-21 keeper as won’t count as a squad player. Etheridge and Smithies sufficient.
Sorry, you missed my point. I was saying that I wasn't excited, not that NOBODY should get excited. Everybody is different. This hit closer to home for many as he had signed for us, as I said, if it was a player for any other club, I'd have been gutted and remorseful but not like I have been this week.
Plenty to chew over in this article. Some points though: Dalman watching Tameze. Really? Is he a football expert all of a sudden? Who is the mystery player in Germany? £14m for Forestiere. Is that a misprint? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/what-cardiff-city-fans-can-15739499
I didn't take it personal mate, just still can't wrap my head around the whole thing. Closure is needed for everyone involved.
When I heard we were in for tamaze, I watched the second half of the game Salman went to watch. He looks half decent. Certainly better than what we have. I think there was a full back in the same game that was being watched. Take your point on dalman's scouting credentials though. Forestiere, no thanks. A fair shout jay. The last point is the killer. With no body and no funeral, closure will be difficult for many, especially for the family. The Leicester helicopter incident was terrible, but the outcome was known and funerals held. No doubt it's still raw for their fans and heart breaking for the family but they have closure and the healing process is underway. Not so with sala. From the personal experience of losing people close to me, and especially my dad who 15 years on I still miss dearly, the passing is painful which gets heightened again with the funeral, but it slowly subsides only to be brought back at birthdays and anniversaries and other events. Not being able to discuss our promotions with him was upsetting and brought back memories (he followed cardiff for over 60 years). They say time is a healer, but until they find Sala's body, for some that time won't start.
Hi Jay, I get your point. I was surprised how it affected me. I must have been anticipating Sala’s arrival more than I thought. I was truly gutted and football did take a back seat. A old friend of mine also died suddenly this week which knocked me sideways, even though I hadn’t seen him in over 10 years. Maybe it’s an age thing...
Lucas Alario anyone? 26 year old Argentinian striker from Bayer Leverkusen for £14m. 63 goals in about 170 appearances since 2011.
