Given the option, he'd have probably chosen a stab to a none fatal area over a permanent scare on his face...

The knife (swing) was high, a stab would/could have been to the neck.

Which is what I thought you were going to say; he was lucky it was a slash to the face rather than the neck.

The culprit is also lucky in this instance; the police won't give a **** about this but they would have done had he been killed.

The guy slashed didn't deserve that but anyone looking to be a footy hooligan (if he was) isn't getting sympathy from me.

The guy who was slashed technically in the eyes of the law could still be done for affray. And as stated here...

"Detective Inspector Darren Young, of the South Central Command Unit, said: “The behaviour of those involved in this incident is nothing short of disgraceful and those involved can be certain we will be working to identify them.''

Don't think they are going to have much trouble identifying him, excuse my humour.

Some of the comments after that video...

At the front throwing punches then moans that he's been knifed?!? Headline should be Football thug knifed by another football thug!

It's not like this guy is a victim is it.... he's right there in the mix trying to do someone hard. Someone just beat him to it.

hahahahaha - sorry, I shouldn’t laugh but if you play with fire .... or in this case other silly little boys, that’s the outcome.

40 bunch of muppets fighting, 1 gets knifed, 2 policemen watch and arrest nobody, what's new about London???

I bet that bloke in his 20’s felt like he was really apart of something when he was drinking Stella and putting marching powder up his nose. Now he’s crying in a hospital bed about his poor little face. All football hooligans are losers, they are funny to people watch in the pub though hahaha

    ....

The sad part of all those comments is they are true. The guy clearly thought he was hard at the front beating up a bunch of kids, he now has lifetime scars to remember his stupidity by.

I've seen a fair few of the vids of what happened.

A lad not involved in the incident, filmed the aftermath. An Everton fan walked up to him and made a comment, the lad with the camera asked him to repeat what he said. He replied put this on camera, Millwall just got fooked on their own turf.

Enough said in that one comment alone by the Everton scum.

Bored with it now to be honest mate. Just wanted to be clear to any pretentious Everton supporters that their following stooped to the level of knuckle draggers, and i thought we had erased this sort of scum some decades back. Even gorillas have better manners...

Yeah the families round Deptfod aren't normal families. On average 2 are in jail, 1 is a crackhead and the other sells herion.

Not clicked the link but there's some horrible ****s round thst area, ****ing dangerous place if you don't know what you're doing or going.

My mate got hung over a tower block balcony and had his ears cut off with a hacksaw for knocking on a dealers door as his phone was off.

Its all organised on the dark web mate, obviously it's not the levels as the 80's, but some tear ups are 100% premeditated.
