Feel like I should join in.

Went out last night, nice Italian place with some mate's.

Had baked meatballs starter, seafood risotto for the main. Loads of garlic bread on the side. Was lovely but the rice wasn't right imho, just wasn't proper risotto rice. No worries though, the red wine washed it down a treat.

Had bacon butty for breakfast and roast chicken with boulangerie spuds and carrots for lunch. Chicken baguette for tea driving back down here.

Half a bottle of Malbec and am now in bed! <ok>

Was going to put some chicken thighs in the slow cooker over night in a hot Buffalo sauce/marinade but haven't got my bloody office key.

Got the ingredients for another beef stew this week, ready to go. Last week's was so good, doing the same again.

Fewer pearl barley this time though.

The lamb was ok but not tender enough.

I think the problem with slow cookers is that they all differ so one recipe says slow cook on Low for 7 hours, another will say 5 hours etc.

Mines next to my printer. I can see it bubbling away while I'm at my desk!

If I do something overnight it's on low anyway so it's not like you can burn anything, if you do it right.

I can’t remember the last time when I had to stop eating because there was too much food to finish. When I get in I normally make myself a snack while I’m making dinner, then eat my dinner, eat whatever my Mrs left on her plate and finish the kid’s dinner as well, then I’d have a shake.

My Mrs made spicy pulled chicken last night, 8 chicken breasts with a load of this spicy chipotle shizzle, that’ll be getting smashed tonight and whatever is left I’ll have for tomorrow’s lunch.

Ha yes probably but because I don’t want to eat it all rather than being unable to. I’ll have to leave room for a bowl of Krave!

No I know what you mean. I have given up batch cooking as I just eat everything that is there. Cooked a kilos worth of mince in a spag bol on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago, whole lot was gone by the time I woke up on Sunday. I am a right fat **** if food is about
