Llorente and GK are never used though mate. They’ve gone from not playing most of the season to being involved and expected to perform miracles like their first team counterparts. As I just said in my previous post, Poch has to take a lot of blame for our injuries because he doesn’t utilise the squad efficiently enough. There’s been plenty of times to rotate in games, whether that be in the starting XI or changing things up mid way through but he doesn’t do so. I’m genuinely not surprised in the slightest that so many of our best are injured, they rarely get given a rest.

Massive catch 22 for Poch though. What you’re saying is spot on IMO, but if he hadn’t have run those said players into the ground, I very much doubt we’d be on 51 premier league points. - look at the performance you get when these other options fill in. <yikes>

Our set-pieces are awful and we don't seem to practice them, in my opinion. Constantly hitting the first man and little movement.
I don't think that it was the case when Pochettino first joined, so I don't know where it's come from.

As for not getting through to them and poor first halves, I think that's just down to knackered players and a lack of options.
We've run a lot of them into the ground and they're feeling it.

Lamela’s coming on. I mean, it’s not like we’ve pounced about on the ball enough already. So sod it, let’s go full show pony shall we?

Lamela replaces Vertonghen. Can't see how that helps our width, to be honest.

Trippier's offside there, but what if he wasn't and he got flagged? VAR wouldn't work.

But those filling in are going to be **** because they never play. NKoudou has played about 25 minutes this season, what can we possibly expect? If he was genuinely in Poch’s plans as Poch said, he should’ve featured far more this season.

I am questioning Poch...I think hes very naive...however it's about time some of our fans accepted the limitations of our players and admit that Poch needs players that are mentally tuned in to be winners not poncy posers like Trippier the ****ing smeagol faced twat

It's unbelievably poor that a club aspiring to win leagues doesn't practice set pieces

    Shocking stuff

Why is Trippier still taking those corners?

It’s shocking if true but we are so bad at them it’s the only assumption you can make. Looks sometimes like the only set piece work we do is Kane taking pens.

For sure, if Poch has better players you’d like to think his squad management would be far “easier” but that still doesn’t mean he shouldn’t utilise what he has. For all the **** we give Tripps this season, it’s Poch choosing to continuously select him when we have two other RBs at the club.

But why do they never play? Probably because Poch would rather play a “first teamer” who gets a 7/10 performance, than play a fringe player that he doesn’t have the trust in, who’ll probably give us a 5/10. As I say, it’s a massive catch 22. I could well be wrong, but the feeling I get is that Poch plays the same players because he feels he has to to deliver us results.
I think we both agree with one another here, but as looking at it from both sides!

Good run and pass by Lamela, but N'Koudou's got to hit that first time. Three players in front of him and he takes a touch.
