From Mitos stats he has had 1 big injury every season. That's pretty injury prone to me, just because it's not the same recurrent muscle injury or something doesn't mean he isn't regularly missing game time
Prone maybe the wrong word, but it's a concern at least. I don't think it is just unlucky he has had these injuries and Klopp even said he isn't a great healer, hence his current delay to his injury
It's not injury prone. I doubt any player goes through a season without one or two injuries; some play through it, others get minor knocks that don't keep them out. One injury per season isn't injury prone but the injuries Gomez is getting are concerning as they are keeping out for a long time.
tell you what... you run about and feel a thing you are injury prone. I kick you hard and you feel an injury and you are human. this is like when wums told us vvd was injury prone cos he damaged an ankle in a challenge and was out for a good while for Southampton.
I agree. I know you hate him, but Lovren is ok most of the time - however, he is prone to a catastrophic error and then goes to pieces. Matip's lack of positional discipline worries me. Neither are good enough imo. Gomez is by far the best but will we ever be able to rely on him being fit? Having said that, I'd be a bit surprised if we managed to get someone this window. Klopp has shown that he is quite single-minded about who he wants, and doesn't go for stop-gaps.
I tend to agree with you on most things, but defining injury prone is just semantics. The relevant fact is that he's only been available for about a third of the time we've had him, and with the best will in the world, we can't rely on him.
Obviously, but I'd rather be accurate "One injury per season isn't injury prone but the injuries Gomez is getting are concerning as they are keeping out for a long time." Glad you agree
hes basically saying same thing just in a better way. ie injury prone and cant be relied on so get rid sounds better than hope he gets an injury as he is ****e.
Bit harsh to say Gomez can't be relied on when he's played 15 of our 23 league games this season (Klopp rested him for two or three of those missed too). And as I said previously, Lovren and Matip aren't exactly poor third and fourth choice options either.
Liverpool would be Adrien Rabbit’s preferred destination if he was to leave Paris Saint-Germain for the Premier League, it is said.
