I was a ST holder at the time . My Younger sister wanted tickets for the " Shouty end " . So I got tickets for her and my Mum ( 77 at the time ) in the Northam . They were seated next to the netting you mention . at one point during the game my Mum ( quite an innocent soul ) said to my sister " Oh look . They're waving at us " . My sister replied " no , they're not waving " . True story !
Tbf, Apart from Newcastle, obviously. Everton are the team that usually give us problems at the SOL. I actually quite like the club but every time they've been they seem to have a small group of yobs that want to fight everybody before they get on the coaches.

Fair enough. I thought you were being deliberately contrary and trying to wind me up, if I got that wrong then I apologise. I don’t agree on that version of events as I know how our lot are at aways, they won’t have gone looking for anything imo. However, once ambushed at Surrey Quays then they’ve reacted and it was on. The club have already said anyone identified as being involved in violence will receive a life ban. I’ll leave it there
I think both sides will go with a second string team - not that we have much choice - and I think it will be very even. The difference will be that Palace will be able to change the game from their bench, if they really want to.
