Why is Brown getting grief?

He costs us nothing.
He promised nothing.
In fact, no-one promised anything at all regarding him.
A zero cost gamble that COULD STILL benefit us.

So why the grief?

I really don't understand it, it's not the lad's fault. Or am I missing something?

 

It's just a bit of frustration setting in.

 

I think Izzy played a blinder today. If he'd come off the bench for Klich we may never have got the 86th minute winner

 

Agreed, he should get a lot of the credit for that result. Playing a big part in motivating the players in the starting 11. They know if they lose their place to Izzy they may never get it back

Bamford concerns me more than Izzy as he was a big money marquee signing, I’d be amazed if he ever plays 30 games in a season with us or another team, injury prone, fingers crossed we get promoted and we can shift him on.

 

Just what i wanted him to do a good call by me. Who do you want to score next week i will arrange it.

 

In years to come when he’s a top player we’ll be able to reminisce about the time he didn’t play for us.

Agreed. Expect him and Bamford to form some partnership. They’ve certainly spent enough time together all season. Pity it was all in sick pay
