Who said different?, are you saying the poor **** deserved having a lifelong mars bar on his grid because of previous by others?
****ing right it did, back in 73 we played City at Anfield on the same day Millwall played Everton at Goodison, City fans got a walkover that day because Millwall got smashed by Everton fans before the match, loads of them ended up in hospital and after the game by us and Everton. But that was 46 ****ing years ago.
****ing filth. On our forum most wanted Millwall to win for understandable reasons but not me. Everything about that club makes me want to vomit - and Jonathan Pearce waxing lyrical about their proud history? Get right to ****.
We could only get to the Woking game for the 2nd half today. They were terrible and lost a League game for the first time in months. The January loan signing losses were very obvious. BUT a word for the ref: comfortably and by some distance the most incompetent I’ve ever seen. Little fat **** was beyond clueless.
Was he involved in the pre arranged fighting or was he an innocent caught up in it? If the later he has my utmost sympathy. Would be more concerned with getting to hospital and keeping it covered up if it were me rather than taking a selfie and putting online. It is a weird thing about today's world. People photograph or film horrible **** to upload. More people filmed and uploaded videos of the London Bridge terrorist attack than actually called the police! The same is true of other public acts of violence.
Should've seen the ref I had today, one of those proper no life ****s who love being able to be the man on a Saturday and try and boss everyone around for 90 minutes
Good point, he might have been part of an organised punch up, but it happened when the blues fans came out of the tube station, possible he got off the train at Euston and was herded onto a tube train without having a chance to make his own way to the ground. But yeah, you're probably right RCL.
Yes and no. People want to publicise it now and I kind of get it. If your mate has been carved up by some **** at the footy and you have the technology to let the world know then why not?
That badge of honour stuff makes me want to scream. I know guys who can tell you all the matches they were at in the 70s and 80s and never once talk about the games. Never understood it.
Tbf and honest, back in the 70's an away day was as much about survival as it was about the game(depending on which ground the game was at), I was caught up in the fighting **** but could also tell you about the game itself. It was how it was then, no organised stuff, it was purely random, but the football was my main priority on match days, the other stuff came as a by product.
Stopped going to matches in 83...was so ****ing racist and dangerous. Could spot trouble a mile off growing up in Thamesmead, Woolwich and Plumstead but in at football it was so ****ing random...and then there was the psycho old bill to deal with. Imho the ****s gave the old bill the excuse to treat us all like **** and led to Hillsborough. I loved standing but prefer football now...the ****ers tend to meet up away to fight and as far as I am concerned they should be left to kill eachother...natural selection and all that.
So not been to a game in 36 years? Sounds like my dad, he stopped going, i don't know his reasons, i never asked.
