THE FLYING SOFA 7/2 Fontwell 2:00 has bumper form in the book that book that suggests to me that he can repel the Nicholls invader. Moore and Gordon are very under rated in my opinion.
Looks a lovely day at Sedgefield you can hear the wind whipping the commentary box. Some dedicaiton from the commentator.
Espoir D'Allen was very good at the 3rd and 2nd last, which he met on a good stride, but hopeless at the last where I felt Geraghty didn't present him to the hurdle with any confidence - he wanted to horse to "pop over" instead of making up his mind for him. I think this COULD be at the root of Buveur D'Air's increasing tendency to clout one. JP should get on the phone to Paddy Brennan
naas,2 50: DREAM CONTI and envious editor probably reached the same level of form so far,but slight preference is for the former, whose last run looks a tad stronger..
sedgefield,3 10: CHIMES OF DYLAN improved out of all recognition to win last summer, and 5 lbr rise is fair enough, given that the second has won twice again since..
Just watched the slow motion slog at Sedgefield and my eye was taken by Solid Strike. He has to be the fattest racehorse I've ever seen. He reminded me of that Wycombe Wanderers striker Akinfenwa. Needless to say he finished last .
i see michael had a 33/1 winner in the last ,is that his first n h winner ? stable off the cold list !
Yeah, I feel like I have let you all down today. I spoke to him about the horse a few months ago and he was convinced he would win with it. First time in a handicap today and bingo! It is his first hurdles winner for a long time but he has hardly had any hurdlers. His last one was over five years ago, a horse called Ramona Chase who won a few handicaps.
