Burkes injury sounds longer term (knee - not known how it happened) ... Mazuch (achilles - have we ever had a more injury prone player, thankfully out of contract in the summer).. Bowen (being assessed) got clattered from behind.. I suppose that might take him off potential signers radar..

Think they did to us what we have been doing to other teams in recent weeks, they were constantly at us not giving us time on the ball and our defence couldn't cope. It's bad enough losing one main central defender but to lose both? Second half we had 4 full backs in defence.

 

I wonder - if nothing happens in the next few days - whether Nigel will take a closer look at his situation just like all those awaiting contract discussions or an e mail saying their extension has been activated.
