I'm far from a knee jerker. I don't immediately have a melt down when we lose and then absolutely love football when we win but I think I'm down with this. I'll keep an eye out and will care if we win but I can't keep committing to watching every week as I am bored to tears week in week out! I appreciate Rafa hasn't got the players he wants. I can see the players are trying but it's just so painfully boring to watch!
Utter dog ****e football again... 1 shot (off target) all game? Joselu isn't fit to wear to wear the shirt - wouldn't be in the conference either. Subs - well you heard the crowd booing them today - Rafa hasn't a ****ing clue when it comes to subs. Ah well just need to make it past City and Spuds now and we can aim for a 0-0 with every other club in the league... GREAT
****e, ****ing ****e - might as well not have bothered turning up today (or the replay) - what is the ****ing point????
Its the symptom of an Ashley ownership, these games under Pardew were just the same. Its often choice forgotten.
what a waste of effing time never looked like we wanted to win or be in the cup at all it makes you wonder if the Blackburn game didn't go to plan and we won
Whilst l completely agree that Joselu should not be anywhere near our team, l will ask the question, what exactly is Rafa supposed to do ? If he plays Rondon and he is injured, and seeing our luck, he would be, then we have Joselu to play up front possibly for the rest of the season. Rondon gives us some goal threat and he definitely gives the team a target man and someone who can hold the play up. The ability to do that is crucial as... 1 it gives others the opportunity to run off him 2 and probably more important than number 1, the ability to take the ball and hold it, takes pressure off the team, especially when you are trying to see the game out. This is crucial to our remiereship survival. Yes, it’s dog ****, yes it’s boring, yes it’s too defensive, yes we are all bloody sick of it, but what else was Rafa to do in the circumstances. Plus whilst l am at it, l ask you this... If it’s so bloody dire, why oh why do some 50.000 keep turning up and pay to watch it. You want Ashley out, then use the only weapon available to you and stay away. Support the team and FEED the regime.
All those that booed are ****ing thick, idiotic hypocrites. They knew we wouldn't take the cup seriously. They knew we would be ****e. They CHOSE to buy a ticket for the game today knowing our record under Ashley and our predictable attitude and performance. They hadn't already paid - the argument with season tickets. No wonder Mike Ashley gets away with his antics and takes the piss.
