Scally unhappy over Bertrand cash

Gillingham chairman Paul Scally believes Chelsea nabbed their former junior Ryan Bertrand on the cheap. Bertrand signed a scholarship with Chelsea after initially agreeing terms with Gillingham, who were awarded £125,000 compensation at a tribunal. Scally said: "Chelsea offered £50,000 - £25,000 down and another £25,000 in six months time. If he plays 40 games then we will get another £400,000. "But frankly if he plays 40 games then we should be getting £32m."

 

Ah well.

How’s Ogilvie been doing mate? There aren’t really too many expectations of him to make it here, plus his contract expires in the summer, so I think he’s playing for a contract elsewhere, whether that be with you or someone else.
